Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and spine patients in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The unit has 36 private rooms, uses Meditech, and serves a busy Level 2 trauma population with stroke, head injury, and trauma cases.

• Monitor orthopedic, spine, and telemetry patients
• Perform wound care and dressing changes
• Assist with traction, external fixators, and halo care
• Support safe mobility with walkers, gait belts, and bed alarms
• Assess neurologic status and report changes
• Coordinate with the care team to support therapy and imaging needs

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Acute care hospital experience on med/surg or telemetry units

• NIH certification
