Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in New Hampton, IA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care on a med/surg unit in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in New Hampton, Iowa. The role supports telemetry monitoring and routine acute care for adult patients.

• Monitor adult med/surg and telemetry patients throughout care
• Assess vital signs, symptoms, and rhythm changes promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs
• Support admissions, transfers, and bedside handoff processes

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
