Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Fredericksburg, TX

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care for telemetry and postop patients in a hospital unit in Fredericksburg, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse and works with 1:6 patient ratios.

• Monitor telemetry status and report rhythm changes
• Provide med-surg and postop nursing care
• Complete vital signs, intake and output, and daily weights
• Perform bedside report, admissions and discharges
• Start IVs and assist with wound, foley and NG tube care
• Support CBI, cardiac drips, heparin drips and pain pump therapies

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• Telemetry experience
• Postop care experience

• 2 years or more of experience
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale
