Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in Des Moines, Iowa on a 26-week contract. The unit serves acute care patients who need cardiac monitoring and routine med surg support.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and vital changes
• Assess adult medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient status and response
• Educate patients and families on care
• Support discharge planning and transitions

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
