Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Chewelah, WA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Chewelah, Washington. It serves adults and geriatric patients on a 13-bed unit with Epic charting and typical 1:5 ratios in a critical access hospital.

• Assess adult and geriatric med surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer oxygen therapy and support noninvasive airway needs
• Manage IV access, central lines, ports, and blood products
• Provide wound care, wound vac care, and isolation precautions
• Activate rapid response support and collaborate with the care team
• Document care and patient status in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with 1:4 to 1:5 patient assignments

• Chest tube management
• ABG interpretation
• Pacemaker care
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
