Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience and post-surgical neuro patients in a hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and supports 1:4 assignments in a teaching, Level II trauma setting with stroke-focused care.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and neurologic changes
• Provide care for neuroscience, neurosurgical, and stroke patients
• Support post-operative neuro recovery and spine care
• Manage dysrhythmias and other acute changes
• Assist with respiratory support and sedation monitoring
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• 1 year of telemetry or neuroscience nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Patient ratio experience with 1:4 to 1:5 assignments
• BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube, and post-neurosurgery care skills
