Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics on a medical-surgical unit in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit averages 34 patients daily, uses Epic, and is part of a Level III trauma center. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with medical and post-operative needs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Manage central lines, PICCs, peripheral IVs, and drains
• Support ostomy care, feeding tubes, and bladder irrigation
• Monitor oxygen therapy, hemodialysis support, and isolation precautions
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical or telemetry experience
• Experience with blood products, IV starts, and line care

• IV insulin protocol experience
• Orthopedic trauma experience
• Wound care and wound vac experience
• Rapid Response and code team experience
