Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 36-bed unit uses Cerner and remote telemetry monitoring with typical ratios of 1:5 to 1:7.

• Monitor telemetry and patient status
• Assess medical-surgical patients and report changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR
• Document care in Cerner
• Support patient education and discharge planning

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical telemetry nursing skills
• Cerner documentation experience

• BSN
• Charge nurse experience
• Leadership experience
• CMSRN certification
