Travel Med Surg RN in Tuba City, AZ

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide independent bedside care for patients with varied medical and surgical needs in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Tuba City, Arizona. The role supports individuals of all ages and their families in an inpatient environment.

• Assess patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor changes in condition and escalate concerns
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Educate patients and families on care needs
• Support admissions, transfers and discharge planning

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico or U.S. territory
• 3 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• TCAR within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire
