Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care on a hospital med-surg unit in Nashville, Tennessee in a 13-week contract. The role serves underserved, homeless, underinsured, and insured patients, with interpretation services available and care for a prison population.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapy
• Manage dysrhythmias and support cardiac monitoring
• Maintain peripheral lines and IV access
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE
• Coordinate care with the team and interpretation services

• Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification or MAB
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience
• Blood product administration, dysrhythmia management, peripheral IV care, and isolation precautions

• Chemotherapy administration
• Patient-controlled analgesia
• Telemetry experience
• Tracheostomy and wound care
