Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide post-op care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 34-bed unit uses Meditech and manages a 6:1 patient ratio. It is a comprehensive stroke, Level II trauma, chest pain center.

• Deliver post-operative Med Surg nursing care
• Monitor telemetry, pulse oximetry, and IV therapy
• Start IVs and support medication administration
• Perform wound care and maintain surgical drains
• Assist with nasogastric and chest tube care
• Communicate changes in condition and update care plans

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Med Surg nursing experience
• IV start, wound care, and drain management skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
