Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care on a cardiac/nephrology unit in a hospital during a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 34 beds, a 6:1 ratio, Meditech charting, patient care technician support and Level 1 trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center status.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients with cardiac and nephrology needs
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
