Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care on a 25-bed medical-surgical unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, remote telemetry, wound vac, and virtual sitter equipment. Patient ratios are 1:5-6, with unit secretaries and PCT support.

• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy
• Assist with foley catheter placement and care
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Collaborate with PCTs and the care team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment skills
• Experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Bedside shift report proficiency

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification
