Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for trauma and medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 34 beds, uses Meditech, and supports patients with telemetry and other monitoring equipment.

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical and trauma patients
• Prioritize care and manage multiple patient needs
• Monitor telemetry and other ordered equipment
• Start IVs and assist with wound care
• Maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Complete bedside shift report and support patient and family communication

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• IV start skills
• Experience with wound care and management of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
