Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 36-bed hospital unit uses Meditech and typically cares for 1:4 to 1:5 patients with wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures.

• Perform ongoing medical-surgical assessments and monitoring
• Provide care for wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, and chest tubes
• Support patients recovering from surgery and neurologic events
• Assist with heparin infusions and other routine treatments
• Complete bedside shift reports, safety checks, and medication scanning
• Document patient care and responses in Meditech

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• NIHSS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical bedside assessment and care skills
