Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a neuro medical-surgical unit in an acute care hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on a 13 week contract. The 20-bed unit uses Meditech, supports a 6:1 ratio, and serves stroke, trauma, and chest pain center patients.

• Provide direct care for Med Surg patients
• Monitor neuro and telemetry patients for changes in condition
• Start and maintain IV therapy
• Assist with wound care, drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Perform bedside shift report and include patients and families in care planning
• Use pumps, pulse oximetry, and EKG equipment safely

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• Basic Life Support certification
• Med Surg nursing experience
• Strong prioritization, multitasking, and patient communication skills
