Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care for neuro and medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 20 beds, a 6:1 ratio, Meditech charting, and equipment for telemetry, IV therapy, feeding support, and respiratory monitoring.

• Assess and monitor neuro and medical-surgical patients
• Start and maintain IV access
• Manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Provide wound care and postoperative support
• Administer medications and coordinate telemetry monitoring
• Document care in Meditech and support bedside handoff

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong prioritization, multitasking, and bedside communication skills
