Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a medical-surgical unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit has 34 beds, a 6:1 patient ratio, uses Meditech charting, and is in an acute care hospital with stroke and Level II trauma designation.

• Provide direct care to medical-surgical patients
• Prioritize assessments, medications and care plans
• Start and monitor IV therapy
• Manage wounds, surgical drains, NG tubes and chest tubes
• Monitor telemetry, pulse ox and bedside equipment
• Communicate patient needs with the care team

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and provide compassionate bedside care
