Travel Med Surg RN in Mullins, SC

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for med surg patients in an acute care hospital in Mullins, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 28 inpatient beds, uses Epic, and works with 1:6-7 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor adult med surg patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and oxygen therapy
• Start and maintain IVs and peripheral lines
• Provide port care and isolation precautions
• Support patients with GI, renal, neurologic, and wound care needs
• Collaborate with the care team and respond to changes in condition

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or Compact license in hand before start
• BLS
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Experience caring for 1:6-7 patient ratios
• Epic experience
• IV start and maintenance skills

• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula support
• Wound care, wound vac, and ostomy care
• Rapid response and code team support
