Travel Med Surg RN in Mckinney, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide care for medical and surgical patients in a hospital unit in McKinney, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 33 beds, uses Meditech, and serves telemetry, pre- and post-surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and GI patients with a 1:6 ratio.

• Deliver bedside care for medical and surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry and other patient data
• Assist with pre- and post-surgical care
• Use unit equipment to support assessments and mobility
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification

• ACLS certification
• CPI/SAMA training
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with cardiac, respiratory, and GI patients
