Travel Med Surg RN in Lander, WY

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct inpatient care in an acute care hospital in Lander, Wyoming for a 13-week contract. The unit serves medical and post-surgical patients and may occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients.

• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Coordinate care with the health care team
• Change dressings and insert catheters
• Start IVs and assist with procedures
• Educate patients and families on recovery needs
• Document care, vital signs, and responses accurately

• Wyoming or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of recent Med Surg Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
