Travel Med Surg RN in South Carolina

A Travel RN - Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a 42-bed med/surg unit during a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Meditech, targets a 1:6 ratio, and may go up to 1:7. The hospital is a Level II trauma center with stroke care.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing conditions
• Administer treatments and support wound, Foley catheter, and trach care
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with nurses, techs, and the care team
• Support safe discharge planning and bedside shift report

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1+ year of medical-surgical experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong communication, teamwork, and compassion
