Travel Med Surg RN in Lander, WY

A Travel RN Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct and individualized nursing care to medical and pre- and post-surgery patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lander, Wyoming. The unit supports general med surg care, medication administration, wound care and patient education.

• Assess and monitor patient condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Change dressings and insert catheters
• Collaborate with the care team on plans and discharge needs
• Educate patients and families on recovery and home care
• Respond to changes in condition and life-saving situations
• Document care and vital signs accurately

• Wyoming Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and PALS from the American Heart Association
• Med surg bedside nursing skills
• Experience with medical and post-surgical patients
