Travel Med Surg RN in Janesville, WI

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide patient care in an acute care hospital and trauma center on a 13-week contract in Janesville, Wisconsin. The role supports medical, surgical, pediatric, orthopedic, neuro, and sub-acute patients and uses standard nursing documentation.

• Assess patients and coordinate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards and state practice act
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses
• Educate patients and families on care plans and instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care
• Participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities
• Escalate safety and care concerns using clinical judgment

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• BLS/CPR certification
• NIHSS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong assessment, documentation, and teamwork skills
