Travel Med Surg RN in Idaho Falls, ID

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The 39-bed unit uses Meditech and has 1:5 day and 1:6 night patient ratios.

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and support safe medication scanning practices
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document care in the EMR and maintain accurate records
• Assist with routine IV therapy, mobility support, and lift use

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Strong communication skills
• Time management skills
• Medication safety and scanning accuracy

• Chemotherapy certification
