Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care on an acute care hospital unit in Dallas, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit cares for neuro, epilepsy, TIA and stroke patients, uses Meditech charting, and typically serves 1:4 to 1:5 assignments.

• Assess and monitor neuro and med surg patients
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments
• Document care and patient responses in the chart
• Respond to seizure activity and changes in condition
• Collaborate with the care team on plans and discharge needs
• Educate patients and families on recovery and safety

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong time management and acute care nursing skills

• ACLS certification
