Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a hospital in Dallas, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech charting, telemetry monitoring, Mobilab, and Baxter pumps, and is part of a Magnet environment.

• Provide direct nursing care to medical surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and report changes in condition
• Start peripheral IVs and maintain vascular access
• Manage NG tubes and support enteral care
• Perform dressing changes and central line care
• Administer ordered treatments and coordinate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 6 months of medical surgical nursing experience

• Bachelor’s-prepared nursing degree
• Charge nurse experience
• Advanced med surg certification (MSRN)
