Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience and epilepsy patients in a hospital unit in Dallas, Texas, on a 13-week contract. The 29-bed unit uses Meditech and commonly treats stroke, TIA, and seizure patients with a 1:4 to 1:5 ratio.

• Assess and monitor neurological and medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Document care in the electronic medical record
• Respond to changes in neurologic status and escalate concerns
• Collaborate with nurses, PCTs, and providers
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Assist with stroke, TIA, and seizure care

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Time management skills

• ACLS certification
