Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience and epilepsy patients in an acute care hospital in Dallas, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 29 beds, typical ratios of 1:4 to 1:5, and uses Meditech.

• Monitor neurological status and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and support seizure precautions
• Care for stroke, TIA, epilepsy, and other neuroscience patients
• Collaborate with the care team on admissions, discharges, and treatment plans
• Document care accurately in the electronic record
• Maintain safe, organized care across a medical-surgical assignment

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Strong time management and neuro assessment skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
