Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct care for adult patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The 23-bed diabetic endocrine med-surg unit uses Meditech and works with a 1:5 ratio.

• Provide bedside care for med-surg patients
• Monitor blood glucose and general patient status
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Document assessments and care in the charting system
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Support discharge planning and patient teaching

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Time management and prioritization skills
