Travel Med Surg RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Orthopedic Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide post-surgical bedside care in a hospital unit in Dallas, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 22 beds, uses Meditech, and supports orthopedic and spine recovery with a 1:5 patient ratio.

• Provide post-surgical orthopedic and spine nursing care
• Monitor pain control, vital signs, and recovery status
• Administer medications and support IV and PCA therapy
• Assist with telemetry monitoring and routine med-surg care
• Collaborate with the care team on mobility and discharge planning
• Document patient care in the electronic record

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Accredited nursing program graduate
• Medical-surgical nursing skills

• Orthopedic nursing experience
• PCU experience
