A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care in an acute care hospital med surg unit in Blacksburg, Virginia on a 13-week contract.

• Assess patients and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and the nursing team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Provide patient education and reinforce care instructions

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills
• Competence in documentation and patient education
