A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care for adult patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Blacksburg, Virginia.

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and recognize changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments safely
• Monitor vital signs, response to care, and patient stability
• Coordinate care with providers and support the unit team
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the record
• Teach patients and families about recovery and discharge plans

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
