Per Diem Med Surg RN in Portland, OR

A Per Diem Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon. Epic charting is used in a teaching hospital setting.

• Assess medical surgical patients and report condition changes
• Administer oxygen therapy and support non-invasive airway care
• Manage peripheral lines and IV site care
• Assist with rapid response and code team support
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Medical surgical nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Skills in peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and code team support
