Travel LPN in Playa Vista, CA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide rooming, blood draws, vaccinations, and nurse visits in a high-volume outpatient clinic in Playa Vista, California on a 13-week contract. The role serves primary care, family medicine, and internal medicine patients across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, using Epic charting.

• Room patients and prepare them for clinic visits
• Draw blood specimens for laboratory testing
• Administer vaccinations and injections
• Complete nurse visits and medication reconciliation
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose checks, and pain assessments
• Assist with EKGs, urine collection, oxygen, and wound care
• Support telephone triage and patient education

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of outpatient experience
• Recent venipuncture, phlebotomy, and IV skills
• Experience with blood glucose monitoring and vaccine administration

• Epic charting system experience
• Urgent care clinic experience
