Travel LPN in Lacey, WA

A Travel Oncology Licensed Practical Nurse will provide patient care in an oncology clinic in Lacey, Washington on a 13-week contract. It serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic.

• Assess vital signs and patient concerns
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Complete medication reconciliation and follow-up calls
• Handle specimen labeling and pharmacy call support
• Perform telephone triage for oncology patients
• Document pain assessments and clinical updates

• Washington Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and documentation skills

• Medical oncology experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Behavior management and end-of-life care
• Symptom management for nausea, ascites, constipation, and diarrhea
