Travel LPN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel OB/GYN Licensed Practical Nurse will support outpatient women's reproductive health care in a clinic setting on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The role serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and supports a women's reproductive health population. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws
• Support Pap smears, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, and Nexplanon care
• Assist with NST and other gynecologic procedures
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as ordered
• Collect specimens, prepare lab samples, and label materials accurately
• Provide telephone triage, follow-up calls, medication reconciliation, and patient education

• Active California Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• IV certification
• Phlebotomy certification
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience
• Venipuncture experience
