Travel LPN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide infusion care in an outpatient clinic in Los Angeles, California for a 13-week contract. Adults and geriatrics are seen, and Epic is used for charting.

• Assess adult and geriatric patients for infusion needs
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered therapies
• Monitor vital signs, intake and output, and pain
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen handling, and lab follow-up
• Carry out medication reconciliation, patient education, and discharge teaching
• Support telephone triage, follow-up calls, and clinic flow

• Active California Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Basic Life Support from AHA or ARC
• IV and blood certification
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Epic charting experience

• Blood glucose monitoring and IV pump use
• Oncology, MS/Tele, and wound care experience
• Central line blood draws and dressing changes
