Travel LPN in Chino Hills, CA

A Travel Urgent Care Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct care in an urgent care unit on a 13-week contract in Chino Hills, California. The unit serves pediatric and adult patients and uses electronic EMR. The setting is fast paced.

• Take vital signs and room patients
• Administer oral, IM, and SQ medications
• Assist with wound care and splinting
• Prepare patients and rooms for minor procedures
• Support patient teaching and communicate results to patients
• Perform TB reads and assist with urgent care workflows

• California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 3 to 5 years of urgent care or emergency department experience
• IV certification
• Electronic EMR experience
• Phlebotomy, blood glucose testing, clean catch urine collection, vaccine administration, wound care, and splinting skills

• Cast care
• Crutch walking
• Wound vac care
