Travel LPN in Marina Del Rey, CA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide care in a multispecialty unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Marina Del Rey, California. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with Epic charting and an average daily census of 85.

• Monitor vital signs and patient status
• Administer medications and support medication reconciliation
• Perform phlebotomy and collect urine specimens
• Assist with Foley catheter insertion and urinary care
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and provide oxygen support
• Support urology, cardiology, and neurology patient care

• California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• IV certification and blood withdrawal certification
• 1 year of outpatient clinic experience

• Epic charting system experience
• Blood glucose monitoring and testing
• Telemetry remote monitoring
• Isolation precautions and PPE
