Travel LPN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will support outpatient urology care in a clinic in West Hollywood, California for a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents through geriatrics and averages 30 visits per day in five rooms, using Epic. The role involves urinary procedures and physician assistance in a busy urology setting.

• Collect urine specimens and obtain clean catch samples
• Perform bladder scans and assist with voiding trials
• Insert and remove Foley catheters
• Assist physicians with cystoscopies and prostate biopsies
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the RN or MD
• Reconcile medications and label specimens

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience
• Epic charting experience
• IV insertion and blood withdrawal skills
• Prior travel experience

• IM and SQ medication administration
• Oral medication administration
• Pain assessment and management
• TURP patient experience
