Travel LPN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel OB/GYN Licensed Practical Nurse will provide outpatient clinic care for women's reproductive health in Los Angeles, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports adolescents, adults, and geriatrics and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine specimens
• Assist with Pap smears, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, endometrial biopsy, IUD care and Nexplanon care
• Support telephone triage, follow-up calls and refill requests
• Administer IM and SQ medications and vaccines
• Monitor vital signs, pain, blood glucose and pregnancy-related concerns
• Reconcile medications, review labs and reinforce patient instructions

• Active California Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• IV certification and phlebotomy certification
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, including 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience
• Venipuncture experience
