Travel LPN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse will care for post-operative and trauma patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The unit has 24 beds, uses Meditech, and staffs at 1:5 to 1:6. It supports a multidisciplinary post-operative team.

• Provide post-operative care for trauma and orthopedic patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Administer ordered treatments and medications within scope
• Assist with wound care, mobility, and recovery support
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and nursing staff

• Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or ortho experience
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Strong post-operative care, trauma care, and documentation skills

• Post-operative care experience
• Trauma care experience
