Travel LPN in Pasadena, CA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will support an outpatient clinic in Pasadena, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics and uses Epic charting.

• Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient clinic
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, IV starts, and blood draws
• Complete vital sign checks, medication reconciliation, and pain assessments
• Support telephone triage, follow-up calls, and refill requests
• Assist with specimen collection, labeling, and lab result review
• Administer IM, SQ, and vaccines per clinic practice

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• IV and blood draw certification
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with EKGs, phlebotomy, IV starts, telephone triage, and medication reconciliation

• MS/Tele experience
• Aseptic and sterile tray setup
• Simple dressing changes
• Oxygen administration and nasal cannula use
