Travel LPN in Seward, AK

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct care in a long term care unit on a 13-week contract in Seward, Alaska. The unit serves residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other cognitive or physical impairments, uses ECS charting, and works with a 1:20 ratio.

• Monitor vital signs and report resident status changes
• Assist with admissions, bathing, ambulation, oral care, and hygiene
• Perform glucose checks and support enteral feeding care
• Provide wound care, respiratory treatments, and oxygen support
• Assist with catheter care, injections, and other routine treatments
• Document care in ECS and communicate with the RN and MD

• Current Alaska Licensed Practical Nurse license in hand
• BLS certification
• 1 year of long term care experience
• Prior travel experience
• ECS charting experience

• Long term acute care experience
