Travel LPN in Seward, AK

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide resident care in a long term care unit on a 26-week contract in Seward, Alaska. The unit serves adults with dementia, Alzheimer’s, cognitive and physical impairments, with a 1:20 ratio and ECS charting. The setting supports 40 residents.

• Provide routine nursing care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other long term care needs
• Assist with admissions, ambulation, bathing, mouth care, and vital sign monitoring
• Perform blood glucose checks, monitor implanted glucose sensors, and support IV hydration as needed
• Assist with feeding tube care, G-tube feedings, respiratory treatments, and oxygen administration
• Support Foley catheter care, wound care, and other skilled nursing tasks within scope
• Report resident status changes and document care in ECS

• Active Alaska Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse experience in long term care
• Prior travel experience
• ECS charting experience
• Long term care nursing skills
