Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Travelers Rest, SC

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide care for adults and geriatric patients in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatric patients, averages 15 patients daily, and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in cardiac status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, tubes, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• Assess adults and geriatric patients with complex medical and neurological needs
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and support teams
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in Epic
• Provide patient and family education on plan of care and recovery

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of experience in LTAC MS/Tele, MS, or PCU
• 1 year of Epic charting experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• LTAC experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, or trauma Level I or II experience
• ABGs, arterial line management, mechanical ventilation, and vasopressor support
