Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Aurora, CO

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will care for medically complex patients in a long-term acute care hospital in Aurora, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit serves chronic patients with telemetry monitoring and a 1:6 ratio.

• Assess and monitor medically complex patients
• Manage ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Support central line maintenance and infection prevention
• Coordinate telemetry monitoring and respond to changes
• Administer medications and document care
• Collaborate with the care team and delegate tasks
• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Colorado Registered Nurse license or multistate compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
• Knowledge of central lines
• Clinical judgment and patient care coordination skills
