Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a long-term acute care hospital in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit serves chronic patients in a telemetry setting with a 1:6 ratio and focuses on ventilator and tracheostomy care.

• Assess patient status and coordinate care using the nursing process
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Manage ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Collaborate with assigned personnel to prioritize care
• Document patient care and clinical changes
• Support central line care and other routine LTAC nursing tasks

• Active Colorado or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience
• Knowledge of central lines

• Wound care experience
