Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Travelers Rest, SC

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The unit averages 15 patients and uses Epic. First-time travelers may be considered.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Manage tracheostomy, tube feeding, and oxygen-related care
• Perform assessments and respond to changing adult and geriatric conditions
• Support wound care, central line care, and catheter care
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, and other support services

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
• 1 year of LTAC MS/Tele, medical-surgical, and PCU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with dysrhythmia monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, and tracheostomy care

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Ventilator weaning and IV vasopressor management experience
