Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Waterloo, IA

An Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a birth center within an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Waterloo, Iowa. The unit serves laboring and postpartum patients in a women’s health setting.

• Assess maternal and fetal status during labor
• Monitor contractions, labor progress and recovery
• Assist with deliveries and postpartum care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Support newborn stabilization and immediate care
• Educate patients and families on labor and recovery

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certification
